Current XXXII. annual conference is going to take place 
in Vysoke Tatry(Stary Smokovec), 13th till 15th October 2011.




Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the organising committee I would like to invite you to join our conference.

The Slovak Society of General Practice of the Slovak Medical Association (SkS GP SkMA) is currently organising its traditional autumn conference. This year’s event will be the XXXIInd Annual conference, and will take place in the attractive environs of the High Tatras mountains between October 13 and 15. We offer not only fresh air and a magnificent new conference venue, but an undeniably high-quality scientific programme.

We are continuing the tradition of organising our conference jointly with the WHO, and in coordination with the WONCA Europe and European Forum of Primary Care international conferences in order to be able to welcome professors of general practice from several European countries as speakers to our conference. As always, we are inviting eminent Slovak professors from particular areas.

We are glad that cooperation with the Slovak Chamber of Nurses and Midwifes is continuing successfully and that Slovak nurses will again take part, to collect the latest information and knowledge.

The main topics of the conference include an update of knowledge in different fields (cardiovascular, endocrinology, rheumatology, oncology, infectology, diabetology and others), organised in parallel sections with the focus on application in our daily practice, as well as lectures in medical justice, organisation, economics and ethics. A workshop for young GPs will again take place.

Simultaneous interpretation from/to English will be available.

I would like to encourage you to come: to exchange information and experience, for education and to actively relax.
